Disclaimer

RAE Nutrition & Wellness Intent
Our services, protocols, and recommendations are designed to support the natural processes of the human body. These services do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease but instead complement your existing healthcare plan. 

RAE Nutrition & Wellness is not a substitute for your Primary Care Physician (PCP). It is essential to maintain a relationship with your PCP and inform them of any health or lifestyle changes, especially if you are taking medications or experiencing weight changes that may affect prescribed dosages.

Services Availability

RAE Nutrition & Wellness provides services to residents of Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, California, and the District of Columbia. We are licensed to offer services in these states and provides telehealth services in compliance with state regulations.

Coaching and consulting services focus on nutrition, supplementation recommendations, lifestyle changes, and health education. However, these services do not create a doctor-client relationship. It is your responsibility to consult your PCP regarding any changes to your health or medications.

Telehealth Consultations
By scheduling an appointment with RAE Nutrition & Wellness, you consent to participate in telehealth consultations. These sessions are primarily educational and involve the use of audio or video technology. While effective, telehealth consultations are not a replacement for in-person medical care. 

If your needs exceed the scope of telehealth services or our services in general, you may be referred to a local practitioner. You are a participant in your care and may decline any recommendations or services at any time.

We will NOT advise you to stop any medication. Adjusting or discontinuing medication is a decision that must be made with your prescribing physician. If your goal is to reduce or eliminate medication, we can provide protocols to support your health, and you can work with your MD to monitor progress.

Return Policy

Refunds

• All sales of supplements and lab services are final.

• Prepaid services are refundable only if canceled by RAE Nutrition & Wellness.

• Unused prepaid visits in package plans are non-refundable after accounting for used visits at the standard rate.

Payment Policy

• Full payment is required at the time of scheduling or service.

• Accepted payments: cash, check, credit card, or debit card. Returned checks incur a $25 fee.

• Credit cards on file will be charged for visit fees, supplement orders, lab orders, or late cancellations.

• Additional charges apply if appointments exceed the scheduled time in 15-minute increments at the prorated rate.

Cancellations

• Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged the full appointment fee.

• No fees apply for cancellations or reschedules made more than 48 hours in advance.

Privacy Policy

RAE Nutrition & Wellness is committed to protecting your personal information. Your data is securely stored and used solely to provide high-quality services. Information is not shared without your consent unless required by law.

By using our services, you agree to authorize RAE Nutrition & Wellness to use public reviews (e.g., Google, Yelp, Facebook) and testimonials for marketing purposes. These reviews may appear on social media, our website, and printed or digital publications. Participation is voluntary, and no financial compensation is provided. This includes photos, graphics, and testimonials. You release RAE Nutrition & Wellness from any liability related to these uses.

Children’s Privacy

Our services and website are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Security

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, transmissions via the Internet are not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using our services, you acknowledge this risk.

Terms of Use

Acknowledgment and Consent
By scheduling and participating in services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in these policies.
RAE Nutrition & Wellness does not provide emergency services. For urgent medical needs, contact your PCP, visit urgent care, or call 911.

Limitation of Liability

RAE Nutrition & Wellness is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of our services, including indirect or incidental damages. Services and recommendations are provided "as is" without warranties, express or implied.

Your use of the RAE Nutrition & Wellness website and services is at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, under no circumstances shall RAE Nutrition & Wellness, its affiliates, related entities, vendors, or content providers (collectively, the "RAE Parties") be responsible or liable for any damages, including, without limitation, direct, special, indirect, punitive, consequential, exemplary, and/or incidental damages that result from your use or inability to use the site, any content, and/or any related software, even if RAE Nutrition & Wellness or an authorized representative has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Notwithstanding anything else contained in these terms, in the event this section or any part of this section is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, RAE Nutrition & Wellness’ total liability to you, or anyone claiming by or through you, for any damages, losses, claims, and/or causes of action, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, shall not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

If you reside in a state that does not allow certain liability limitations or waivers described in this section, some provisions may not apply to you. You agree to promptly notify RAE Nutrition & Wellness in writing if you believe you have any claim, and you agree that any claim not brought within one year after it arises shall be waived and released.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RAE Nutrition & Wellness, its affiliates, related entities, officers, directors, employees, agents, and contractors, from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

1. Your use of the website or services in violation of these terms.

2. Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

3. Any third-party claims arising from your use of RAE Nutrition & Wellness services or website.

Termination

The terms of use are effective until terminated by RAE Nutrition & Wellness. RAE Nutrition & Wellness reserves the right to terminate, restrict, or suspend your access to the website or services at any time without prior notice.

Governing Law & Arbitration

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, excluding its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the site shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, with the arbitration held in Alexandria, Virginia. Injunctive relief or matters relating to intellectual property may be brought in state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to such jurisdiction and venue.

Waiver & Severability

Failure by RAE Nutrition & Wellness to enforce any part of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.

Mobile Device Access

RAE Nutrition & Wellness is not liable for any issues arising from accessing the website via a mobile device. It is your responsibility to ensure your device is compatible and secure for website use.

Entire Agreement

These terms represent the entire agreement between you and RAE Nutrition & Wellness regarding your use of the website and services. Any prior agreements, oral or written, are superseded by these terms.
